I'll be honest this book was my first paranormal/werewolf romance novel. I came across it through my Goodreads group, "Unapologetic Romance Readers." It goes on to tell the story of a wolf named Quicksilver (Silver) and her goals of going from a nobody in the Pack to somebody. In order to achieve that status she takes a chance on a rogue wolf or Shifter (a human/wolf that can choose and choose not to transition to wolf when he so pleases.) Ehhh it was actually kind of hard for me to take seriously, I guess that I just haven't immersed myself into this subgenre enough. Unlike most novels or movies that I have watched with werewolves in them, these wolf-people actually really were more like animals than people. Instead of a human that sometimes becomes a wolf, these were wolves that sometimes became human, so throughout the book it feels like you're in the mind of an animal. I mean I suppose I understand the main plot of the book, which was for Silver to earn a rightful place in the pack, which

She does. But its like okay we have to sift through why Ti (the Shifter she vouches for) is so troubled, which we sorta do, but it starts to become less about Silver and more about how she wants Ti to realize he needs to be more wolf than human and accept himself as an animal.

Guess it just wasn't really my thing. I mean I think I got so bored and was trying to hurry and get through some parts, which later on made me confused. I was just ready to be done with it. I've already started on my next new book, which I am liking a LOT better.

Why 2.5/5?
It just didn't do anything for me, definitely not something that was really memorable. There were quite a few lulls were I was dragging trying to get through. The whole call of the wild just hasn't become my style yet or maybe just won't ever.
Would I recommend this?
Yes: If you are super into people in touch with their "wild" side AKA werewolves.
No: If animals aren't really your thing...
Well that's its for this round.
Dreamer102 out and onto the next one. 🦋
